P.G.Institute of Medical Sciences was established in the year 2017 and Started 2 Pharmacy Courses like D.Pharm & B.Pharm which are Approved by AICTE & PCI. In the Year in 2020, we realize the importance for making Dedicated Paramedics who will serve our society with their knowledge. Upon the above realization we have approached to concern department of Govt. of West Bengal to allow us to start some Paramedical & Allied Health Science courses in our Institute. After satisfaction with our Infrastructure ( College Building, Class Room, Seminar Hall, Laboratories, dedicated faculties) Directorate of Medical Education, Govt. of West Bengal has given recognition and West Bengal University of Health Sciences issued affiliation for starting 13 Paramedical and Allied Health Science courses from this year.
A Doctor needs Pathological report and other investigations for proper diagnosis of diseases, .All these investigations and reports are carried out with the help of paramedic’s. Without proper Diagnostic, proper conclusion regarding medical treatment/surgery cannot be obtained. On the above ground we realized the importance of OT Technician, Pathological Technician, CCT Technician, Physiotherapist, Nutritionist etc. All these personal are called paramedics. The service of Paramedics are most essential for proper Health care.
We will try our level best to establish this Institution as a premier institution in the field of Paramedical and Allied Health Science to enable our training programmer to meet the global challenge and corporate need in health care sector. The college provides qualified and experienced faculties, Clinical Instructor and specialized external lecturers to impart quality education in developing skills and facilitate them for quality practice.
Our Management is looking forward and wants our college to be known as Institute of Excellence.
